I was really excited during the unveiling and I really love the car overall still, especially the front, but the rear is still absolutely hideous, guys, no two ways about it. Hell, they could have at least shaped the exhaust pipes to mach the rest of the rear, but in all seriousness I hope it grows on me which it probably will, but maybe I'll get lucky and Chevy updates the rear when the hi-po versions come out. Yes I'm beating a dead horse, but I don't give a rats-*** about doing that.

What I want to know is, what's going to be the Zo6 motor? If that's what they're going to call it.

I agree, everything looks great but the rear and the chrome trim in the grille.

Take a look at the GT spec ZR1 race car. Look atthe REAR diffuser, very similar...especially behind the tires. Everything is for a purpose....and lots of wind tunnel testing and input from the racing team was implemented into the car. Everything aero on the C6 Z06 and ZR1's was developed in ALMS...on the race cars.

Everything is functional....so I dig it.

This car with LOOOOOTS of power, will be a 250mph PLUS car in the mile. It's very sleek...they built this car to be world class in everything,...regardless of it's entry level price.

I love what they did to the rear. The rear on the C5 looks like a big nothing and the C6 is not much better, I just don't look at the rear on mine much lol. At least now it has some style to it not just a big flat nothing.

I don't look at my rear much either. Just like you, it's the guy in the other lane that has to look at mine!

Still a little apprehensive about...

1.) Tail lights.

2.) Active fuel management.

Otherwise I really like the new C7 a lot.

Sorry to offend the ers, but Ferrari came out with this "edgy" "wedge" style about 2yrs ago with the 599GTO and about 12-18mo ago improved it.... Called the F12 Berlinetta. GM could'nt "retrofit" a bodystyle like the Camaro so they just stole one in an attempt to be "euro".... and added a Camaro to the back-half to try and make it different.

Nice Faux-rrari

Yes it does look like it tried to be closer to a Ferrari/European design. Should of focused more on traditional Corvette styling rather than try to hard to be something its not...

Once you guys see the car in person you'll like the rear a lot more. It really flows well with the entire car but doesn't photograph well at all.
