If the car checks out ok. I would buy it. I just sold a 125,000 heavily modified c5 6 speed. The new owner is very happy with it. I did all the work. So if the car checks out. Offer him 10.5, and settle on 11k if you have to.
The zo6 is gone.

I looked at the zo6 link and that was deleted.
As far as looking at the Vette, there's tons of threads on this. But for the mods, see if he has receipts, check the front seal for leakage, check for solid oil pressure. Listen carefully for any engine ticking. Look at the oil on the dip stick, should not be black. Drive the car and re check all these things.

Looks and sounds ok in the video. Worth taking a look at. I would give it a good test drive, let it sit and talk with the guy for a while, the. Look for any leaks etc, especially the front crank seal. What up with the windshield wipers being half up?

Your prolly liking at getting another 100 to 150k miles out of her if she's been treated right... Not a big deal, just throw another LS motor in her and she will give you another 200 or 300k miles...

What a small world^ lol when you least expect it you can see your old car again

Sounds like a legit deal to me. Best thing to do is to give a drive and check it out.

Looks like it's been painted to me...plus the VATS light(pull key, wait ten seconds)...or a column lock issue. Right rear exhaust is crooked as hell but....honestly, at idle the car sounds good.

Drive it. See whats up.

vehicle anti theft system.

These cars,...have a fixable, column lock problem. Plays tricks on some C5's more then the others (never had a problem on mine)....

He coulda, in the video also recently did something with the battery,..maybe disconnected,..reconnected...(maybe to clear a code?)...anyways,.could be anything but,..the "Pull key, wait 10 seconds" is a dead give away.

Pick your poison.

General Motors dealerships, also have a fix. I am sure others here, can chime in with they're dealings with service column lock issues.
