Corvette emission questions

Corvette emission questions I am going to swap an LS variant into my 2004 Blazer and being from Kalifornia i have to take smog into account. My understanding is that I have to use a same year or newer engine and hook up all the smog components that applied to the Blazer (not much) and the stuff that came on the engine i am installing.
Currently all the truck requires is PCV, TWC, MPFI, EVAP, So my goal would to be to find a donor car with the same amount of emission equipment and not more.
Now my question is I am pretty sure Corvette shed the EGR valve prior to 2004 but I am having trouble finding what year exactly the AIS system was done away with. From what I can find online it looks like 2005 was the first year without air injection, can anyone confirm this?
