570 Horsepower Chevy SS
You know what the SS needs? More power. Callaway just recently annouced their plan to fix that car's crippling deficit (415 horses? Come on, what is this, the stone age?) with a supercharger.
All told, their SS makes 570 horsepower and 535 lb-ft of torque. What that means in the real world is that an SS with the Callaway touch will sprint from 0-60 in 4.5 seconds and run 12 second quarter miles. They've also given it a new exhaust, injectors and intake too.
What they haven't given us is a price. Something tells me you'll be paying for the name as well as the parts, but it's still an attractive proposition. That is, if you don't mind an automatic. Normally that's something that I would be bothered by, but for a big, powerful sedan like this, I don't know if I care that much.

looks like we may have to get our hands on one
and make it go 12's without touching the engine. it's all about getting it off the line

Ive yet to see one of these at any of my local dealerships yet, Was starting to wonder if GM ditched the idea. lol they'll go fast just give them time, glad to see others are finally starting to see them. They have ls3's in it that article said...that's odd, kind of figured they would have switched this over to the new LT engine design like the vettes and trucks, etc. but hey im not complaining.
