Sell your performance parts separately, or you'll lose your *** in the sale. Put her back to stock, or as close as you can.

Driving home tonight I saw a black C6 pulling out of a parking lot and the thought occurred to me "I should sell both my f-bodies and buy a Vette." Got home and told my wife "I'm going to buy a Corvette." Went online and found a 06 DSOM right here in my zip code. Logged on to this forum and found this thread. I say "it's a sign" but my wife says I'm crazy.

I'm probably the odd one out here but I had 3 camaros, then bought a 99 c5 with a 6spd... I did love it, but it would wheel hop all day long if the tires broke loose... I'm all about power sliding and roasting the tires every once in a while.... Sold it and I'm back in 00 z28 6spd

And my bank account thanked me with the money I regained selling the c5

I went from an LT1 Z28 to a 6.2 Silverado to a 2003 Z06 with everything but FI or a stroker... There's no way I'd get rid of it for an F-body

Called the guy and it's sold. Guess my wife was right and I'll be sticking with my f-bodies for awhile. Then there's a Spice Red GTO that looks interesting ...

I went from Fbodies to a C5Z and could never go back.

I love my C5Z, better in every way except cargo space.

i recently got a c6...the camaro has been in the garage since i got it lol. it's a completely different car and definitely a blast to drive even in stock form so i can just imagine how a c6z or a c7 must feel. i'm already looking into mods for it so it wont stay stock for long anyways.

I've gone from 2000 LS1 Z-28 that put down 450/460 to the fat and slow 2010 Camaro SS to my now garage queen C6. Love the C6. I'll be upgrading to the C6Z06 in a few. This C6 is my boys. He's only 5 but I'm sure he'll pull some skirts with his C6 in high school.

All these people talking about a better ride in a Vette. I will have you know that my 02 WS6 rides perfectly fine, not harsh at all. It handles like **** and looks like it is trying to go down on the pavement when I get on the brakes, but it rides pretty nicely. I have springs and Koni's waiting to fix that though. So then it will handle great. And ride like ****.

Actually thats the exact opposite.
The stock car on stock shocks rides like crap, throw the konis on there with the stock springs and you will see exactly what Im talking about, you won't know how you lasted on the stock setup, its like a dump truck in comparison.
Even the Koni/strano rides WAY better than stock shocks/stock springs IMO just because the stock decarbon shocks are so terrible, even brand new.

I was being a smart ***. Mildly offended at all the f-body bailers. Thread highjack over. Please resume.

Just bought an 07 Z06 and love it. I have owned quite a few f bodies (13) including a 69 that I stuffed a 454 into and recently a 13 ZL1. Took 50 years to get my Vette and will still own it when I die, but I still love the f bods too and have a project 99 T/A under restoration.

I loved my Trans Am and modified the hell out of it. But then I was helping my mother-in-law with a problem on her 2001 Corvette coupe and drove it for half a day. I was hooked! I don't care what anyone says. An F-body will never drive like a two-seater sports car (because it isn't one).

Went from this (1999):

To this (2003):

To this (2006):

To this (2008):

And have never looked back.
