New to ls1 tech question about upgrading

New to ls1 tech question about upgrading So, I'm new to this site, not sure if this is where I'd post this question. Feel free to redirect me!
I have a low mileage 01 z28, bone stock, a4, t-tops, beautiful Camaro.
However, I have to chance to upgrade to an 01 z06.
My question is, would it be a wise upgrade? The z06 haz pretty high mileage (149xxx) but is in great condition. Beautiful paint, well maintaned engine bay, interior and exterior.
I'm sure I'd have to replace a few things on the z06, considering the miles, but what else should I take into account? Would it even be worth it? I know it's a z06, but my z28 only has 37xxx original miles. 😀
