Cool Detoxx: Stage X

As some of you may know I have had three left knee surgeries since October 2014. It has sidelined me way longer than expected. The cat had been sitting ever since so one day on March some friends came by to crank her and give it a good cleaning. I got a little over anxious and decided to go to a cars and coffee the next morning (friend of mine driving) and getting off the exit we heard a loud bang. Well after getting the car towed to Futral and having them inspect the damage it turns out the output shaft had snapped.

Now I know most people would have the friend pick up the tap or that friend would offer. Mine offered but he did nothing I wouldn't have been doing and it was far from his fault. As much as I beat on the car it was a matter of time before it happened anyway with that weak 26 spline GM uses in the bass models.

Anyway fast forward to me and Futral's course of action. Original plan was to just swap to a 30 spline with a ECS trans brace and call it a day. Well I decided since I'm down for the foreseeable future I might as well do some other upgrades I had been meaning to get to and with the drivetrain out it made installing some stuff easier. Before I get to listing the parts I ordered once RPM for my diff they discovered not only was the output shaft trashed but so was the ring and pinion, and the case was cracked. That lead me to believe it was on it way out and I'm glad it happened when it did.

With that said here is my list of mods for this round:
RPM stage II diff
Ridetech Level 1 adjustable shocks
ECS Transmission Brace
ID1300 Injectors
Fore Innovations triple pump setup for e85
Holley black fuel rails
DSX flex fuel kit
ATI 10 rib upgrade

Went 10 rib because I plan for the future. Built motor and F series blower will require it. I have pfadt adjustable shocks currently (for sale) but I've been hearing great things about ridetech so want to give them a shot. Injectors and fuel system are self explanatory. Want the ability to run e85, pump, and race gas if needed so the flexibility is nice.

I'll be posting pictures of what I already have and once stuff comes in. This should be fun and it will be a whole knew car by the time I'm driving again. Sorry for making this long winded.

Definitely gotta give a shout out to Futral amotorsports for always taking care of me. Without the great deals I probably wouldn't have done most of this stuff right now.

Yours is coming along nicely.

Nice you didn't have the buddy pick up the tab, I would of done the same. **** happens. Especially for how hard I drive my car it sure as hell wouldn't be my buddies fault lol
Just bad timing on something that would of let loose on me also if something like that would happen to my car

Really excited to see how it turns out. I figure I'll be back in it around the end of summer which is fine with me cause I love cruising in the fall.

I would sell it before doing that.

Messed up my LCL and Patella playing sports and working out. Dealt with 16 months before I had it operated on in October. Wound up needing two additional aurgeries after that to fix it.
