corvette c5 value hello gents, I'm in the market to buy my first corvette. I would like to buy a nice, original, non-beat, under 50k, c5 corvette coupe or convertible . what is a fair price to pay for a car like that? I've been checking classified adds, but the prices I've seen have varried substantially

When I got my 2004 2 years ago, it was exactly what I wanted. Came with a Corsa Sport, Torch Red, Black Interior, 6 speed, and had 39k miles.
I paid 24k, and was quite comfortable doing so. The looked, drove, and smelled brand new. I personally wouldn't take a dime UNDER 20k for my car now.
