Yea, it's gone too. My best friend owns a dealership, I'm always swapping cars. The 996 was great, but I know my way around the LSx stuff a lot more. I've done heads, cams, tunes on many LS' but with the 996 I had to farm everything out. There's something about tuning the car and seeing the results I really enjoy.

Great find for sure and welcome back........................
My parents have an 06 in the yellow and like you said...love it or hate it
I don't really like the color at all but when you put it on a Vette C5/C6/C7 you just cant help but lose a wad......badass for sure.....

Now That's a nice ride!
I happen to like 'em in yellow, here's my 75 at our Show and Go car show.
It's not an ls, nor is it very powerful, but it's a fun ride.
I like the corvettes so much, I recently picked up an '04 too.

Thanks guys, I will hit you up for sure Jay. I ordered an ECS supercharger kit, BTR blower cam and trunions. I'm deciding on clutch and heads now. I've heard great things about AI, their web site is very confusing though.
I'm also in discussions with a local shop about installing forged pistons. I've talked to a few guys with the ECS kits and none of them scattered their motors. The kit seems pretty reliable with a little meth.

New lifter trays and GM lifters came in today. My Racetronix BAP harness came in last week. I'm sending payment for the new LME heads and Alky Control kit tomorrow.
Also ordered the IW harmonic balancer and 2 bar map sensor.
I have 3 sets of LS7 1.8 rockers I'll be installing the trunion upgrade in if anyone needs a set. They'll be posted soon.
I'm pretty sure I'm going to run the McLeod RXT street twinclutch.

I've been beating myself up over the clutch too. Can you give me some more info on why you feel this way? I've reached out to a bunch of people on clutches and get a lot of opinions. So far everyone I've talked to is happy with every clutch I've asked about.

Thanks, I've seen these running around town but never paid all that much attention to them. I had no idea how damn fast this car was. I've had some fairly quick cars, nothing all that special. Damn, the 427 has crazy power. Can't wait until the cam, heads ans SC get here. Always wanted a nice solid 10 second street car, my Buick came pretty close. If this doesn't do it I have no idea where to go from there.

I wanted to tell you guys thinking about moving to the C6 Z06 that there are some amazing deals out there now. The dollar is pretty strong in Canada. Also, if you're not afraid of a little higher mile cars the prices are cheap right now!

Alky control kit showed up today, innovators west balancer came on Monday. All I'm waiting on now is the Paxton head unit and I can start the head, cam, sc install.
Let me edit: This install may take me awhile as I'm a little older, back is a little worse and some **** I can't see without glasses. Man it sucks getting old. I'm about to turn into a checkbook racer but I won't go down without a fight.
I'll move to heavens waiting room in a few years, can't take the Ohio cold any longer. HAhaha
