Default can I make my 2007 C6 Corvette run on 4 cylinders?

Hello, I own a blue 2007 LS2 A6 C6 Corvette.

can I make my C6 run on 4 cylinders for street driving for fuel economy and make it run on 8 cylinders for drag racing?

Thanks for help.

will installing DoD/AFM in my 2007 C6 Corvette harm the engine, drivetrain or any else in my C6 when activating DoD/AFM?

Thanks for help.

Absolutely. Simply do an engine, harness and ecm swap. Might be worth it the long run, might be a few hundred thousand miles long run.

I don't think the cost of doing so would ever pay off. Not only that, but the AFM stuff isn't the most reliable technology.

Absolutely. My comment above was in kidding fashion as doing all that work and money spent to get slightly better mpg, while possible, would be nuts. I would hope no one would ever take that seriously.
