We all grew up with car posters on our wall, but one guy actually grew up and bought his poster dream car.

I'm with you, could live without the headlights but WoW it is a Beauty (and it brings back a funny memory for me)...
Fast Story, Back in HS I was already a 24/7 car crazy guy that did all my own wrenching. Somewhere @ 1977 my Shop Teacher asked me if I wanted to do a clutch & exhaust on his 1969 427 4 Speed Vette, AHHHH YAAAAA I DO !!! (I just wanted to beat the **** out if it) LOL...
He let me take it home from School Fri and I brought it back in Mon Morn, I think I originally told him $150.00 + parts, but wow was that one PITA project :o()
Two of DS Exhaust Manifold Bolts Studs Snapped off, the top Bell Housing bolts were a nightmare to get back in, and the exhaust was rusted so bad it was saws all to the rescue. I ended up calling him Sat and telling him I needed more money and he was fine with it, I think I asked for another hundred.
Of course the real reason I did it was I got to beat the **** out of it that Sat night and all day Sunday. I was pretty impressed with it and at that time it was pretty impressive. It's a great memory of me biting off more than I can chew, LOL ...
