to beat a stock 03 Zo6???? with 02 ws-6 M6???

 

a poor ZO6 driver can get beat easily...but if drivers are equal the ws-6 is about 1 second behind and 5 to 6 mph slower (12.5 vs 13.5 and 111mph vs 106mph)...mainly due to hp and weight advantage to the ZO6.

it will take at least a 75rwhp gain for the ws-6 to match a stock ZO6..plus some traction.

 

You need a solid 100rwhp over stock......that would be 400rwhp. I have raced a few and that is what I came up with......and down low I still had the advantage due to gearing and weight. Now if you put gears into the mix, you might get away with 375rwhp. Gears are the often overlooked mod that will get you a lot of fun and performance. Have fun. Them Zo6s run good.

 

Wont take anything if you find someone who doesnt know their Z worth a damn. IF you want to touch a lil bit of everything, gears, shifter, head/cam, exhaust, tune and little bit of suspension work will help you out.

But if you dont wanna do all that, just sell the WS6 and get a Z06 then you only have to worry about what do you have to do to catch a Viper :-P jk.
