***900+rwhp Vengeance Racing Zr1***
Check out this 2012 Centennial Edition ZR1 that just made the most power boost-only that we’ve seen from an LS9 on our dyno!
This ’12 ZR1 is owned by a long time customer of ours out of South Carolina that has allowed us to modify the car in a few different phases to end up where we are now. The build combination on the car is focused around a max-effort LS9 build utilizing the stock bottom end and supercharger, while upgrading most everything else to increase performance while still retaining great street manners. This last round of updates pushed the car over the 900rwhp mark laying down a HUGE 903/852 on pump E85 fuel on our chassis dyno! We also installed a Nitrous Outlet spray bar system and accessories while the car was here, but unfortunately the old RPS BC2 twin-disc clutch was not able to hold up to the added torque, so the car will be coming back in a few weeks for a clutch upgrade where we can finally spray the combination to 4-digit power levels!
The build combination to achieve this power level includes:
Vengeance Racing ZR1-E camshaft kit
Late Model Engines CNC ported LS9 cylinder heads
Kong Performance CNC ported supercharger
Kong Performance modified and ported snout
Kong Performance 5” carbon fiber air intake
Kong Performance billet air dividers
Kong Performance billet tensioner
Nick Williams “Boosted” 102mm throttle body
Lingenfelter Performance Engineering 2.38 upper / 14% lower pulley combination
Lingenfelter 76mm idler
American Racing Headers 2” Longtube header system
Billy Boat Exhaust Fusion exhaust system
AlkyControl methanol injection system
Vengeance Racing 1,000cc E85 fuel injector set
Vengeance Racing custom spec auxiliary “race” fuel system
RPS BC2 Twin Disc Clutch Kit
TIKT Performance Parts cooling and carbon fiber package
Stay tuned for updated numbers coming very soon with the nitrous system activated once the new clutch is installed. If you want to see this car in person, head on down to our LS Expo Cruise-In 6 cruise-in this Saturday at Summit Racing!
