400hp carburated 350
A buddy and I are looking to build a carburated 350 with a goal of 500+ rwhp after a supercharger is added. We figure that we need at least 400 hp before the supercharger and were wondering if anyone has one? And if you do, could you post some specs on it, as far as parts and block and whatnot. Also what would a good compression ratio be? We are looking to run a centrifugal supercharger.
BTW this is going to be in a 1976 stingray. Thanks guys.
- Fed. Mogul forged pistons (10:1)
- blueprint stock rotating assembly
- AFR, 195cc heads (2.02/1.60 valves)
- Edelbrock Victor Jr. intake
- 850 CFM Demon carburetor
- 1 inch carb spacer
- Comp Cams XR300R Hydraulic Roller cam
(248/254' @ /050, .562/.580, 110 lobe sep.)
- Hooker 1 3/4" headers
- MSD, Holley or other ingnition.
506hp/436tq - Westech Perf. Group small-block. I've seen one run at the track and dyno.
* no need for Supercharger.
There are more combos then you want to know about out there.
