c5 zo6 cat-back question???? are these systems titanium and are they free flowing.also how do they sound in relation to a corsa system which i am familiar with,thks for any help as lookin for a cat-back for the 97 .

The Z06 mufflers are a great addition. They shed a little weight off the car and have good sound. Not too loud but not too quiet. They can flow over 500hp no problem and give someone with a highly modified car a tricking edge over the competitor. Do these they are cheap and very good.

thks PH98,this sounds like the system i may bite on.what do these cat-backs go for on the used market.trying to get a line on fred bean parts as they are selling chev parts at cost till jan 3 rd i think.get a brand new set at cost.
I have these on my car and it sounds great. I went from Borla Stingers to the Z06 Ti exhaust and I could not be more satisfied. I can actually remove the partition now if I wanted too.. My car still put down 525rwhp/486rwtq thru the exhaust with 26 degrees of timing and pump gas in Florida. Now the Borla Stingers put down a lot more, but the Z06 Ti exhaust actually have mufflers instead of the resonators the Borlas have..

Partition is an aftermarket product that is installed inside of the FRC/Z06 trunk area. It closes off the trunk and reduces the noise, and it also provides nice storage space right behind the seats for things like CDs that no longer slide all the way to the rear of the car.

There are some other Titanium systems outside of the Z system too. B&B has one that sounds great, but I believe its along the same lines as the Borla system being it doesnt have mufflers just resonators.

you bet,corsa has one too,close to 2000.00 for that.used chev systems seems to be the way to go.just hope their not too quiet as too quiet is no good.you want your car to sound like a sports car,yet loud is not the way i want to go .
Z06s with headers and cats arent really any louder than stock. it gets louder when you get on it for sure. and the difference in power is there too with the headers and cats. but if your wondering what Z06 mufflers will sound like go listen to a Z06. to me its a great sound. i think bone stock they sound great, so id say do it.
