C6 seats to C5 conversion

Hey I was just wondering if it is possible to hook up seats from a c6 corvette into my 99 c5 corvette? I dont know if the electronics will hook up right and it seems like everywhere I go to find out they either dont know or say someone will get back to me and no one ever does. If you have any clue if I could put c6 seats into my 99 corvette please let me know, it would be much appreciated! Thanks! Am I the first person to think about this or something cause i cant find information anywhere? I know there are different options for the seats so any knowledge you might have would be helpful.

Id bet money they used different harnesses. Ive never seen a C6 so I dont know for sure.

I hope somebody gets this to work, the one thing I really like about the C6 is the seats....

Me too, but if that works I bet a new set of z06 seats would look great in my car

I know the shifter is a direct swap. Anyone have the C6 service manual yet? Might be able to pull the schematic and check.

Anyone got pics of the C6 seats. I sat in one buy i was too amazed at the crazy doors that dont have a latch hahaha

Do they feel/look better then the Z06 seats?
