You have to pull the aluminum sheilds off. You have to disconnect the fuel lines. You have to remove a bunch of little bolts that hold the base of the sending unit in. Once you pull that out a little, fuel will start pouring out. Once you catch all the fuel and it stops leaking, you need to work the sending unit out. Once you get that out, you need to disassemble it on a workbench and reassemble the new pump. You then have to do the reverse of everything you just did. Some parts are a pain to do, but its not all that bad. I did about 3 or 4 of them. All of them the racetronix fuel pump. I generally suck at installing stuff, but managed to get through it. The first time it took me about 4 hours. Every time after that got quicker. I think I could do it in about an hour now, maybe 2 tops. Just remember to run your fuel down to 1/4th tank or less. I have no special tools, no special abilities, and no lift. Just jackstands in a garage. That was just a basic overview. If you have any specific questions or need any help once you get started, feel free to email me. BlownFRC@yahoo.com

Dude it sounds harder then it really is. Also take the right rear tire off makes it easy as well. When you get the pump put you just have to pop the plastic top peice out which you can do with the blunt side of a screw driver. One or two taps it will pop. Also when you put it back in make sure your float does not get near anything like hte flex tube. I had to pull mine back out after I filed it when my gas tank only read half a tank. I had to pour all 17-18 gallons out. man that sucked lol. Good luck

Racetronix Fuel Pump is in mine. Had to get it with my ATI setup from a sponser from the Corvette Forum. Here is the instructions from his site about how to do it as well.
