i made the swap exactly one month ago and went all out to a 04 z06 vette. honestly, the only thing i miss about my camaro are the lower payments i had. i looked at all my options ( 03 cobra, bmw m3, etc) nothing in my opinion got close to the z06. after taking it to homestead speedway and having one of the instructors tell me how to take turns and to go faster and faster and next thing u know i find myself taking turns at 170mph. at that moment is when i realized what the z06 is all about. fu@k straight line acceleration, but then again i like street racing..

I own both and they are very different cars. The WS6 is the best looking modern muscle car and it is much better looking than the C5. The C5 is lighter and that improves braking, handling, and throttle response. However, whenever modifying the F-bodies, attention should be paid to reduce weight, especially unsprung weight if you want it to handle and brake better. The WS6 demands a loud exhaust system to go along with its looks. The C5 is more refined in its behaviour. Both are great cars and made by GM-good luck on whatever you choose to own.
