Electron Blue Z06 ?

Is it just me or is the Electron Blue Z06 a lot darker than the one offered for the Electron Blue Civic Si?

It's just the name of a paint afterall. Simiarities are not to be expected from one manufacturer to the next.

BTW, the 2002 EB Z06's I've seen are absoultely stunning!

I just assumed they were both Dupont paints and since they had they had the same name I expected a brighter color.

My God I saw one at Cecil this weekend and it blew me away it was so damn nice. Looked incredible with the chrome Z06 rims as well!

Really the best looking vette out there in my opinion.

it must have been a cloudy day cause those pics make it seem a lot brighter than the Z06 I saw.

the new electron blue, offered on the 06 z06, is the same pigment as the original chevy electron blue, yes they rock! Thats my fave color in the vette (c5/c6)

Electron Blue was only available in 02 and 03. It changed to a darker LeMans Blue in 04 and continues for the new Z.

but nevertheless, the point i was trying to make was that elctron blue never changed pigments, it was only those two years, but the same hue and pigment both years...

You confused me. You like a color but talk about the 06 Z. Since you are referencing the new Z do you mean that you like the LeMans Blue or is it the earlier Electron Blue. Either way they are both fabulous colors that pics do not do justice for. PS, you might want to fix your sig to on the 06 Z.
