How do you Vette owners like the HUD?
Is the HUD cool, or has the novelty worn off?

It's also nice on a road course for getting your corner entry speed right.
As far as pricing goes I picked mine up for less than I paid for my f-body used. They aren't too hard to fine for <30k now - it's a buyers market.

I believe it's a 2200 dollar option from the factory, but I recently put one in my car for about 400 bucks out of pocket after selling the stock guage cluster. Not too bad and I love having the HUD now.

Just a little clarification here. On my 2000, it was a $375.00 option (UV6). May the $2200 tag be the outright price with windshield?

My only complaint is that the "SHIFT" light needs to be a little more prominant.

I almost never look at the dash at all, unless I have tire pressure on the DIC.
HUD on his stick shift o1 was very cool..
I'd highly recommend it..
If I was buying new again..Id order it..I don't know how you put it in for 400 dollars but sure would like to.. Did you have to change the windshield?
I thought it was cool option once I tried it...
If buying new..I'd try and get it..if buying used..it could n't hurt to try...
