What suspension upgrades do C5 Dragracers have available?

I already know these bad-boys can handle with limited modifications (tires), and there is probably a ton of additional handling stuff out there for them, but what about drag racing C5 setups? Any popular trends or parts out there?

The trick is to improve the weight transfer. One way is to use adjustable shocks, loosen up the front, and tighten up the rear. The other way people do this is by disconnecting the top of the front shocks and both sway bars.
Now you need to re-align the rear suspension with a lot of weight in the rear of the car (a couple big guys sittin over the wheels). I dont think caster is that important, but I'm not sure. You definately want 0" toe, and 0 deg camber.
I think these tricks came from Tom Hall.

There are also some affordable coilover setups available now as well for the C5. There are a few companies(Breathless Performance, West Coast Corvettes) that offer these now and I believe they are all made by the same manufacturer.
The coilover setup will allow you to remove the two leaf springs as well as the shocks. You can even recoop a bit of your invested money back by selling your leaf springs if your car came with the Z51 suspension package. Lots of C5 junkies are willing to spend $200-300 for a used set of Z51 springs so they can upgrade their f45 or base suspensioned c5s with these heavier leaf springs.
The coilovers also allow you to adjust the rebound of the shocks as well as the ride height of the car. I believe there are also other springs available that you can change to affect the stiftness.
I will either be going with one of these setups, or HAL adjustables in the next few months. I have to be able to keep my car multi-purpose for road-racing, drag-racing, autocrossing and of course lots of street driving and coilovers seem to be the way to go.

I belive ARE has also developed a C5 drag racing suspension and brakes. It should accomodate better weight transfer and allow the use of 15" wheels for slicks and skinnies. Hmmm...

LOL.
I'd also imagine you CAN order a set of front HALs. You can for the F-Body, so I dont see why you couldnt for a Vette...

The shocks can be ordered 1 at a time. We have a new drag race suspension combo that is almost ready for the c-5. The prototype is done and will have some pictures in the next month.
We have a new set of front spindles, 4 pison calipers and dragrace rotor(still driveable on the street) that alows the use of 15" front rims with "skinny" tire to boot. This will loose weight and help weight transfer, we will also have the rears as well.
The hals are the only other maj. thing we used (1.48 60ft) and that is with stock rims and rubber on the front.
