Z51 Power Steering Cooler

Z51 Power Steering Cooler Before spring I'll be installing a new MTI camshaft in my C5. Since this require removal of the steering rack, is it worth it to install a Z51 Power Steering cooler on my non-Z51 car?
If it makes a difference I'll be installing an underdrive pulley with the cam.

Re: Z51 Power Steering Cooler For day to day driving and even drag racing, having a power steering cooler wouldn't make much a difference. However if you auto-x or road race the car, upgrading to a ps cooler can realy help the fluid. Also I would consider switching to a good synthetic ps fluid such as redline.

Re: Z51 Power Steering Cooler Considering how cheap the coolers are, you should just go for it. get one from Ken Fitchner Chev and have it installed at cam time.. not many bucks and good insurance...

Re: Z51 Power Steering Cooler I am about to order a Z51 Power Steering Cooler from Ken Fichtner this week. He has them for like $110. You can't go wrong with the extra protection, especially if you like doing any autocross or lapping events.
I have watched MANY fbodies and c5s boil their power steering because of not having a converter. I guess it is a REAL simple installation!
