My new motor is here! My ARE 422 LS6 arrived yesterday. <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0"> It's going to be a little while before I have installed, I still have to get all the details worked out first, decide on a clutch, etc. I'll try to get a few pictures of it posted up soon as well. I can say that it feature a 4.000" stroke and 4.100" bore in a resleeved LS6 block, but many of the specs I'm keeping under my hat for now. I am expecting 500/500 rearwheel out of it naturally aspirated and it is built for a 300 direct port shot, which I probably won't run for quite a while either. It's nice to have a motor that will growth with you though. <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0"> More info coming soon...

Re: My new motor is here! He Jer, 500/500 are some high expectations but you never know, usually with a pump gas engine 500 hp doesn't get 500trq but I hope in this case we can <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">
A similar engine pulled 486hp/489trq NA and a 300 shot pulled 822hp/946trq.
Mcloed twin disc 3 finger the only way to go, just happen to have one from your old f-body days that has been upgraded and waiting!!
Have fun, we did leave the comp. ratio down a bit to help things live on the 300shot

Re: My new motor is here! Also Nick you just made ~477/490 rearwheel through a full exhaust with cats. With LG's LT headers and a true off road x-pipe I should be right up there at the 500 mark if not more if my gains are anything like what Lou's G7 had from the TPIS headers. His car went from 492/475 to 512/497. Plus I have a 4 CID on him and your engine building skills!
Anyways with a good intake and exhaust setup and a little tuning 500/500+ shouldn't be that hard for me to achieve. <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0"> I hope. <img src="gr_tounge.gif" border="0">
