2002 C5 A4 first 12 sec. run, stock..... My son and I went to Ennis this morning and got there late, around 10:30. TONS of cars there, from Ricers to 'Stangs, 'Vettes and the "Pro's". Not sure what the wait was for a second run, we left at 12:00 but got what we wanted, a 12 sec. run on the new 'Vette with nothing more than a conical air filter in place of the stock air box.

To say the least, I am very pleased, in fact, besides myself! Just put it in "Drive" and hold on.

That's a great run but it ain't stock <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0"> . Stock is right out of the dealers doors <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0"> . But nevertheless, that's a hella good time for just an air filter! What gears do you have?

Re: 2002 C5 A4 first 12 sec. run, stock..... Roger - congrats! This is a nice milestone. I made my first pass in the 12's two Saturdays ago. My first and best pass was a 12.67, 108.80 mph, and a 1.80 60'.
Of course, now that I've had a taste, I want more. What a surprise! Stage 2 heads and cam are next!
