What are the specs on the stock fuel pump(s)?
Thanks!
The fuel pumps in your 99 are good up to 525RWHP.

Any idea on the actual output of the pumps? If I need to upgrade them, would I need to upgrade both pumps or should I just put one inline pump after the fuel filter?
Thanks!

Is this also true for the 2001 C5s? I know the 01's have smaller injectors

They injector sizes do vary from year to year, I will have to check on the fuel pumps. Just because you run out of injector doesn't necessarily mean you are out of fuel pump. You could be running 450RWHP NA for example and still have enought fuel pump to deliver a wet 75-100 shot of nitrous for example.

Thanks Godspeed. I guess this kind of information is not common knowledge. It seems even Nick doesn't really know. I find it kind of odd that 2 fuel pumps would have such a low limit. I guess I'll wait until I see fuel pressure drop before doing anything about it. I remember SW ran with the stock fuel system for awhile in his 422+N2O.
Does anyone sell the fuel pump canister that you drop in the fuel tank with the fuel pump already upgraded?
Here is an idea though. In the F-body's Nick/ARE installs double Walbro in-tank pumps to replace the single factory in-tank pump. How about we take this to the next level and replace both of the C5 in-tank pumps with a double pump setup - giving a total of 4 in-tank pumps! I'm sure that setup could easily support 800RWHP. In fact I used a single Walbro in-tank pump before at 600RWHP, but it really needed upgrading.
Another thing Nick/ARE have done on the C5 is to install a seperate pump just for the nitrous system. Use the stock pumps to supply the injectors and the motor NA, and then use the second pump to feed the nitrous system. This second pump could be tapped into the main fuel tank, or you could add a seperate fuel cell for it - in effect building a seperate fuel system. Of course this requires the addition of another fuel pressure regulator, fuel filter, and fuel line to the front. This is what I plan to do with my car ultimately - just build a complete seperate fuel system for the nitrous.
