Have $8000 to spend please help
If you have no plans to ever really make more than 450RWHP then stick with your basic plan with the Supercharger and consider valvetrain upgrades. If you want to ever make more than that I would consider a heads/cam package. Most of these packages from good tuners are coming in with at leat 420-430RWHP. Then if you want to push past that I would add a Supercharger and you should not have any problems hitting 490-520RWHP.

with the ati kit at 10 psi on a stock engine with mac headers a guy in the fi section black98ls1 ran 10.98 and dyno'd over 550rwhp I do believe.
so the numbers you quote above may be a little low.

that's because when you mod, you skip right past the 500's

I have no other mods. I was told that I could expect 490rwhp with 5lbs of boost on a stock motor, we will see. It looks like that is the way I will go. I want to run it as safe as possible. Thanks for all the help.

It's 490bhp, not rwhp. Even the 7lbs kit alone may not give you 490 rwhp, may need a LT headers.
7lbs kit rated at 535bhp per ATI. Mine's the 7lbs
