need help! Trying to decide what air filter setup to get for my c5. Im still undecided on what to get. <img src="images/icons/confused.gif" border="0"> Any more advice out their? Brand? Price? HP gain? and do I need to cut the shroud?

Re: need help! The MTI Ram-Air intake setup for the C5 is pretty cool, it has a nice scoop that protrudes below the front bumper that collects cool air. It also comes with a brand new, precut shroud so installation is easy.
The only open filter setup that I like is the Donaldson. Its just a simple looking setup but works okay too.
There are a TON of gimmicks out there as far as airboxes for C5s. I tend to suggest ones that don't look cheesy and function well.
