Low temp thermostat, Plugs and Wires
Many thanks to Shawn at www.vetteguru.com. The write up there was dead on. I did not however use the double swivel sparkplug socket(from Snap-on)he recomended. (I couldn't catch and stop a truck). I used a standard 5/8" sparkplug scoket (crafstman), and a 3" and 6" extension.
One piece of advice: ( and I know I've seen this stated many times before)Put the anti-seize compound on the plugs and install them all, BEFORE you even touch the brand new shiny red wire. <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">
I kept a write up of the order and tool combinations I used. If you're interested shoot me an e-mail and I'll pass it on.

It's been a long time since I've been under the hood and getting back in there is a little intimidating to someone who last tuned a car with a timimg light and dwell meter. This was a good start. My Cold air intake should be here next week, then....well, you know how it goes.....on and on....
I just mentioned it for someone who has been thinking about going ahead and doing some of the maintnance themselves instead of taking it in. Turns out these spark slugs were just like my 67 343 Javelin. Hard to get to but doable.
