New best times and Snake killing too :) Well, to start the day, i went to HRP with a fresh bottle from MTI (read 1200 psi without putting a heater to it). 1st run of the day, the car spun from the 30 ft mark to the 60' mark, and when i got to the ticket booth, they told me to pull off to the side...I really didnt expect to hit 11's while spinning, but to my surprise, that run turned out to be

This beats my previous best of 11.98@113.09. WOW....i was happy, except they told me that if i ran under 12 again, that i couldnt run anymore, so i decided to run on motor for the brackets. I was running consistent 13.0-13.1 in the brackets, placed 4th out of about 30 cars (no trophy dammit). Then, got one last run of the day during time trials, and got lined up with a 2000 viper. He told me that i would prolly beat him ,and YES, i killed another viper on the track. So far, I am 2 for 2 racing vipers on the track. He ran a 12.9 to my 12.4 (low pressure) and i stopped and talked to him afterwards and told him nice race, and he said it was his best pass of the day...(not a very good driver obviously) But it is always fun to pick on the snakes
All in all, a very good night of racing

I remember my first viper race at the track as well....it was a good day <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> It was funny...2 people driving their car easy at the track (me and the viper guy)....yet such an exciting race. Dont laugh at my times damnit <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Re: New best times and Snake killing too :) Anyone who pulls a 12:90 in a gen.2 Viper REALLY can't drive. I used to pull 11:90s in the 120 -122mph all day and sometimes dipped into the 11:80s with my 1998 RT/10 with just a K&N and a cat back.Even my first Viper which a a generation 1 1994 still pulled 12:50s anyday of the week.

Re: New best times and Snake killing too :) I agree.... The viper should have ran better, but a win is a win. If you are on the street and racing for $$$, you think anyone would say, well, the viper guy just didnt know how to drive...if so, ok ,ill take that, and the $$$. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> The viper should run very low 12's
