Torque converter???
Would the best bang for your buck for a 2000 auto vette be a torque converter? I've been told that it will make my vette a hole new creature. Only mods on now are corsa touring and mti ram air.

Re: Torque converter???
Definitely! Should be the first mod in any LS1 automatic. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Re: Torque converter???
I agree with my namesake. Truly, the best bang for your buck. My first converter was a ProTorque 2400 which WCC recommended. I was VERY happy with it. Great converter for bolt-on mods such as intake and exhaust goodies.
Now that I have graduated to stage 2 heads and cam, I am making more horsepower and am moving up to a Yank ST 3500.
Hmmm...wanna buy a slightly used 2400 for cheap? Four hundred bucks and it's yours (but check with ProTorque to make sure that it would be compatible with a 2000 - mine is a 2001).
Hope this helps. <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />
