WOW..nice numbers from the truck heads. I should have saved money and not have gotten my ls6 heads and bought a pair of 5.3's. Sounds like a nice combo. What were the track times??

pkmoose did you get your setup done yet??

12.50 @ 118.76mph with a 2.0 60'

I'm going to Temple tomorrow night to experiment with the tire pressure and RPM's.

It took me a few weeks to get used to the DR's and I'm guessing it will take me a few to get used to the ET Streets.

I'll say this for them, they grab bigtime! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I have the stock output shaft and they are notorious for snapping with a big launch and sticky tires.

Oh well, nothing ventured nothing gained....or broken. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Not bad at all. If you hook ...you will run mid 11's.

Nice runs Scott. Once you get your launch down, 11s will be easy.

I still need to work on my shift points. I was shifting too low. Peak HP is at 6800 but I was shifting at 6000-6200. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />

Also Scott, your on the stock 3.42 gears. Being a A4 guy, I'm not sure if thats hurting you or not. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Thanks George.

How difficult is it to change the shift points in an A4?

Its got to be a pain I'm sure.

I'll be out a Temple tonight to try again.

A set of 3:73's would help out.

I'm staying away from the 3:90 and 4:10's.

Folks have been cracking the housings on the aftermarket sets.

I may just throw a Z06 tranny in.

The gearing equates to a 3:90.

That may be my solution there, but an expensive solution for sure.
