Engine Removal on Vette?
Anyone ever remove their vette's ls1? Can it sit without a motor & still be mobile so we can push it into the shop until the motor gets back from the machine shop? Any tips or tricks <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Yes it can. Kent Moore has a set of brackets that attach to the heads to pull the motor from the top <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

I plan on pulling mine out from the top. I plan on taking th eheads off and then attaching the cherry picker to the head bolt holes .... a few jack stands to hold up the torque tubes and such...... should be fun ahahha
