thunderracing.com Camshaft Kit

It will be right here in 3-4 days.

I have photos of every step, torque specs for every bolt, a list of tools and parts you'll need, and labels pointing to the stuff in the pictures I'm referencing.
About 3 minutes ago I just put in my TR227/224 camshaft into my C5...an hour ago I pulled the heads. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
If I were you I'd buy the following:
TR224 cam on a 114lsa (114 for m6, 112 for A4)
JWIS timing chain (thunder racing has these too)
Katech Oil pump (TR again has it)
Front timing seal replacement
new crank pulley bolt
In addition, unless you are a sucker for pain, buy an ASP underdrive pulley. YOU WONT WANT TO GO IN HERE TWICE so kill 2 birds with one stone and get the pulley if you dont already have it.
Any other questions feel free to post...the whole writeup will hopefully be up by sunday. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

That must be a typo <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
But yes, from a pure idle standpoint, the 114 would be better for the A4 and the 112 would work in the M6 just as well.
I'll probably never put anything but a 114lsa cam into my M6 again.
I had stumbling and stalling but cleared it up with ls1edit.
