What about going from a 99 Firehawk that won't be paid off for four years to a 00 vette? I love the Hawk and it looks awesome but this vette craze I am going through..........

No see I can't have both unless I win the lottery....I am 12.5K from paying off the hawk so either way i will be in debt for another 4-5 years of my college life.

When I refinanced my Vette and traded my Z28 for the T/A I was able to get both my T/A and the Vette consolidated into 1 payment of $650. Only $150 more than what I was paying for just the vette prior to refinancing Also dropped the interest when I did that so its now at 4.9% They should both be paid off by the time I graduate college.

I'm going to do the switch too. Looking for an 01ish coupe. I'd like a z06, but my wife wants the coupe.

I could just get a c6, but don't want to pay that much for one.

Understeer or oversteer? Did you hear this from someone or just meant oversteer? My stock suspension f-body has always demonstrated oversteer due to its weight bias and solid rear axle. I drive a vette sometimes too and have always experienced slight oversteer, even with the independent suspension. Oversteer is when the rear of the car tends to push to the outside of a turn.
