Re: What problems have you had with your Vette? '01 A4 DropTop @ 16K mi ... Well, mine went to the dealer for about two weeks last year because a loose wire in the passanger floor pan.
It would make the computer freak out. All my gauges would drop off to the left and the car would go into a safe mode. It was the weirdest thing I have experienced. This was just a random problem.
Apparently the dealer called a GM Specialist inorder to fix the problem...and to this day I haven't had a single problem.
Had that blowby problem early on, went away around 8000-10000mi.
Tire pressure seems to drop about 3-5lbs/month for no apparent reason.
Stupid truck cover doesn't open all the way but I just: pop the thing before closing the door, as when I close the door the air inside the car pushes out and opens the cover.
Otherwise an excellent car with a long warranty. Besides I love seeing all the people look at the car and waving to all the soccer moms as well as other various ladies when the top is down. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
