HP on C6 and how much???
HP on C6 and how much??? read Motor Trends artical on the new C6 coming out, do u really think that GM will come out with a 425hp vette and a 500hp Z06??? they said also this will be a "upgrade" from the C5 so it should keep the costs down right??? have any idea how much it might cost??? can't wait to see the real C6 comin out besides a drawing.
Re: HP on C6 and how much??? coupe/converts should stay about their same price, maybe the base price overall will be 50k, and the Z06 will be closer to 60, but its still too early to tell. GMs concpet to reality job lately isnt too great, so we'll just have to wait and see when it hits the showroom floor...

I was talking to my buddy who is a huge Ford fan and Ford is pretty damn close to thier concept to showroom. He was givin me **** about GM gettin thier fans all pumped up and then takin it away. hope they prove him wrong this time.

Yeah, Ford and Chrylser come out w/ some cool concepts, just like GM, but it seems no one really produces their badass stuff. Hell, its taken Dia-Chry since 97 to actually say the rumors of a new Charger are actually reality.
But, thats just the name of the game i guess...And GMs concepts have been badass. 2 Silverado SSs, Tiger Shark, White Shark, Tahoe SS, Trailblazer SS. All bad as hell. But to me tho, GMs got their initial quality higher then the competition. To me, it just seems they're built better originally. Yeah, they creek, and rattle and all that w/ age, but what doesnt anymore?

Re: HP on C6 and how much??? u cannot get away from all the noises the new cars make cuz of all the plastic parts they use. doesn't matter what car u own. Dia-Chr are doing a better job at thier concept to showroom than they used too, take for instanse the SRT-10 badass, but not for that much money.
GM does need to wake up and smell the coffee if they plan on being competitive with what FORd has and is coming out with. That has me worried.

Re: HP on C6 and how much??? Im not talking about new cars, hell i've driven every 2003 Chevrolet and Cadillac on the market right now, and they dont creek, rattle, squeek or anything. But, as they age, no matter what it is, i'll be damned if you aint hearing something squeekin, rattlin or creekin.
And Dia-Chry's concept to production still lacks, imo. Even w/ the SRT Ram. Yeah, it was a badass concept, and it'll make one hell of a performance truck, but if they cant offer it below 45k, then theres no point to it. To me, they also kinda shot themself in the foot not offering anything to run w/ the Expedition and Suburban, yeah they've got the Durango, but nothing in fullsize.
