DRL's
If someone were to disable the daytime running lights on a C5, where or how would they do it. Mine haven't worked since I bought my car and I'm trying to get them working again.
Thanks in advance!

I think thats the only option mine dosent have unless its also disabled, my camaro had a censor in the top middle of the dash where the defroster vents are.... I would think thats where it would be, maybe its just unplugged..... or could be the e-brake one is unplugged, they work together.....

I didn't know that was an option. I thought it was mandatory that year.

Hey Assassin,
BTW, that is a sweet looking Vette! Mine is similar, but I went with Charcoal Gray Z06 wheels. How did you get you picture in your signature line? I tried, but only ended up with a link.
Thanks!

i don't think it was an option. i disabled the DRLs on my camaro (sorry to intrude on the vette forum). there are a couple ways to disable them. i'm not sure if it's the same on a vette but here's a link :

the pics aren't hosted anymore so you'll have to use your imagination.

upload your pic to something like photobucket or uploadyourimages.com then get to the view of your pic and right click, properties, and copy the link... then in your user cp under signature put the link inbetween

The only way that I know to disable the DRLs on a C5 is to pull I belive the #2 fuse out of the under hood fuse box. When you do this you also disable the "approach light" function. When you lock and unlock your doors do the parking lights come on?

Yes, my approach lights are working. I don't have the sensor in the air vent on the dash, so I'm guessing that my car didn't come with the DRL's. I just thought that every C5 had them that year.
Thanks for the replys!
