Turbo or Supercharger?????????
. so if anybody has any suggestions i would really appreciate it
In the long run a twin turbo car will make more power then a supercharged car, but the twin turbo kit is more expensive, and by the time your done everything internally will have to be forged if you want to make more power then a out of the box supercharger.
You will need a better clutch, better halfshafts, and I think any kit you get s/c or turbo will come with an upgraded fuel system including injecters, and its only a matter of time till you blow your rear or break something internally with serious power.
Long story short I would do a D1SC Procharger Kit with twin coolers.
If money is no object Turbos. If you can wait Kenny Belle is coming out with a killer Roots style S/C that makes killer torque. Other wise STS is coming out with a rear mounted TT kit. There are no sponsered Single turbo kits that I know of, they are out there but most are custom or old kits no longer made. Basically the turbos will give you some awesome power and torque teh S/C kits are cheaper but still not cheap.
Over 450 RWHP I highly suggest a build tranny and cooler at a min. The bottom end will last alot longer then most think. Its all in the tune. I have 488 RWHP with a crappy tune (cuts off and pulls timing at 5200 RPMS) it has 20,000 miles on it with a stock block and stock exhaust minus the Z06 catback and no problems other then my tranny output shaft and my rearend. And that was due to wheel hop.
Good luck with deciding. Until you pull the trigger you are gonna have alot of sleepless nights lol
