Default Next Mod? on the fence on which direction to go...

Have a few dollars to spend and I am Thinking of what should be next. I am thinking Cam, but then I think I should Beef up the rear end so I can run full slicks.

If I go Cam it will be a TSP 230/237 595/603 112 (or close to this).

If I Beef up the rear I will get the DTE Brace, H.0. Shafts and 17" or 16" rims with slicks.

What would you do? Mods in signature. I am leaning towards the Cam right now but no decesions yet.

Cam. Then, with the next round of mods, rear end / slicks...

DTE Brace either way you go honestly. Its not the power we put down that breaks our rears its the wheel hop. And you get that for basically stock cars. If you are doing your own mods do the cam and DTE Brace then replace the parts in the rear when they break.

I would suggest either Exhaust, Cam or Edit... Good Luck!

DO NOT do any power mods before you beef up the driveline!!!, do the dte brace, output shafts, and a clutch... get the tires and then you can start adding power and the car will be able to hold it..... its going to cost you ALOT more in the long run if you cant handle the power.... ask anybody thats broken anything if they would do it different...

btw: BadMonkey, how much did it cost you when your rear end broke to get it back together and going again?... probably way more than a brace and shafts right...

My rebuild was not too bad, parts and all cost what a new hardened shaft would basically. I bought used, and even upgraded a few parts while we where in there (key ways, steel shift fork, new seals). The rear I bought used as well from a wrecked z06 which was alot less then a new one. I paid less then 1000 for everything (RPM Transmission is awesome). And since I do my own work that saves me alot in the long run as well.

I would do the Cam and get it dyno tuned.
