new to the corvette game......

my brother is fixing to get a '99 c5, it's bone stock. is there any "free mods" you can do to the 'vette like you can on camaro's and T/A's? i know about the zip tie mod, and also being able to lower the car, but what else is there? i have the old egr block-off plates from my 2000 SS, is it the same when it comes to removing the egr/air?

You can pull the mass air flow sensor and pull the screen off. Doesnt do a whole lot but its free and easy.

do not remove the screens from the MAF it will screw up the maf tables in the computer.

There's no need to do any removing, GM did it for you! (the C5's LS1 does not have EGR)

Yeah dont pull the screen! If you do.. give it to me. I need to replace mine.

Just be careful pulling it out cause it is from France. It's FRAGILE!
