whose running street drag radials on their Z?
I was wondering how the car will hold up to these tires?
Plus lets say with a 100 shot? (not spraying in first)

When you say hold up to you mean tread wear or tranny/rearend breakage?
Treadwear expect about 5K miles out of BFG's and 10K out of Nittos
On the street nittos should hook up half way decent from say a 50 punch in 2nd gear on a 100shot.
Providing you don't get too much wheel hop or dead hook the tranny and rear should be fine for a while.
The clutch is going to hate you!!!!

I disagree on the Nittos as the best street/strip tire. They are better street tires, but the BFGs will consistanly pull better (by far) 60'ers. I run the below BFGs. I have about 100 passes on them, and the second to last pass I got a 1.531 60'. Stayed on car from about June 15, miles don't know/don't care. i am going to try to finish them off on Sept 23 trying to get my first 10.xx pass.
Stock clutch stayed for the first 80 passes, pulled it and sold it to a Camaro guy and he takes it the drags and says it's still fine. haven't broke anything, but have added a DTE strut brace.
New Style, BFG 315 18

If you hook something will break sooner or later. The weak components are the clutch and rear end output shafts. I would recommend a better clutch, hardened output shafts and a DTE brace. That should hold you for a while.

Just so you know I am usually very happy to pull lower than a 1.960ft with nittos/BFG drag radials.
A 1.53 60ft is the exception not the rule.
Good burn out is right, they like to be hot. I was running 18psi with stock clutch and best was 1.653 (clutch was limiting factor), and many more1.6xs. With Textralia clutch I run 15 psi hot and that was the 1.531 and certainly not the only 1.5x. I was going to go the ET streets but think now I will stay with the BFGs, because of the rain factor in WA.

I have 315's nittos on my 17x12 ccw's and they are perfect. I had a windown switch and a 75 shot nitrous and the pills in the window switch were from 3500 - 6000 and i sprayed it in first gear, second and so on. I took the nitrous off now but i had a nitrous cam, long tubes, x pipe, vararam. The car hooked real well and i havent broke anything. I figured out cuz i broke my half shafts so much that i only was breaking stuff when the car was stock with drag radials on it, i didnt have nough low end torque to turn them.
And as far as clutch, you will be ok just dont rape it, as in ride the **** out of it. I have a stock clutch and i have 28k miles, and let me tell you i have broken 3 output shafts and hurt my trans and my clutch is still good.
