90% of the prices on the forums will be above average. You can usually find average or below average pricing on eGay (eBay). The online market for ebay is much more competative and you will mare than likely find some decent pricing. Make sure you do your homework - car fax and possibly go look at the car if close by. Corvetteforum has a good FAQ section regarding what to look for when buying.

Some guy just posted in the street racing/kill session. 01 blk/blk with low miles and little mods. Almost perfect shape. 24k miles and paid 24k for it. Steal if u ask me
