"best" is asking what someone's favorite food is, and assuming you will like it too.
do you want a full exhaust?...headers all the way back?
if you want a catback i would go with borla no muffler. Requires no welding, costs 350 bucks and sounds great.

A lot depends on weather you are going to install long tube headers and what type of sound you are looking for. If you are going to remain stock to the muffs, my choice would be borla. If you are going to install long tube headers and Hi flow Cats.......GHL or Z06 TI would be my choice. There are a lot of choices out there, best thing would be to attend a Corvette cruz-in (or something like it) and listen to some exhaust systems and see what sound you like.

Ill be installing Kooks 1 7/8 headers + kooks 3 inch x-pipe (no cats) + b&b bullets.
I like the way the bullets sound.

LG longtube headers, no cats, Borla stinger cat back here. Sounds great.
Go to a local show and listen to some of the different systems. That is the only way to find what you are looking for. Otherwise it is a crap shoot.
