Vararam Who here has a Vararam VR-B2 on their C5? What kind of performance gain did you get?
I ordered one yesterday, and paid $309.99 for it, with a Green Performance air filter. Has anyone else found it for a lower price?

Not a bad price man.
Honestly, if it was 500 bucks, it would be worth it. I gained 3 MPH in the quartermile alone with the Vararam. My cousin gained 4mph. It is well worth it. These are not dyno queen intakes, these are 60mph+++ power adders. It actually produces about a pound of boost at speed.
It is, by far, the best intake for a C5, ever, and one of the best mods ever for a Vette.

I picked up 2mph and 2 tenths after installing the Vararam on my 99. Best price I have seen was 299. There will not be any static gians, but at speed the cooler air and slightly higher pressure helps.

I haven't raced or dyno'd my vette, but I did notice I had to rescale my MAF quite a bit afterwards, it shot about 10% leaner after installing the vararam, to the point where it was pulling a lot of timing at WOT...

Yea, it threw my tune out of wack... Most tuners don't like the vararam due to it's finicky attitude.
The VaraRam is great! See my gains here . I didn't have any tuning issues whatsoever. Someone on the Corvette forum is selling them for $299 shipped right now. I will be selling mine in a couple of weeks but already have a buyer for it.

I have the first edition. I'm getting the latest verson for free,...just need to go to the dyno, and let them use my car.
So, I may have the first edition available for sale.

I've since sold my C-5 and bought a '06 C6, and considering a VaraRam for it as my first mod.
I'm certain you won't be disapointed.
