LGM C6 race car?
Someone from LGM or anyone that knows LOOK HERE having an argument with a friend of mine about the LGM C6 race car. he says its a street car thats been stripped down and rebuilt as a race car. i say its a body in white (like NMRA uses) that was built by them using some stock pieces. which is it?
If I remember right, they take vettes off the line to be turned into race cars sometime before they receive the interiors, and other useless options. so you wind up with a basic dash two seats, a body, chassis and one bad *** motor.

You can get the GM " Box Car" for 20k. Thats the chassis, all suspension and drivetrain, with the body parts in a box, literally.
Since we use nothing from the stock body, and only the block/torque tube/tranny/diff from the drivetrain, and nothing else, we chose to use street cars, and strip them down.
Chassis' are bare when they go on our chassis plate, and then we build them from the ground up.
Chassis # 001, and 002, were the GM box cars. 003-008 are street cars that had a vin at one point.
Most cars are flood cars, theft recoverys, or if we are lucky, we find bare frames which honestly work the best.
