yea i have 17" WS6 wheels...the general rule i heard from people is that whatever brakes you run you need rims that are 4"inches bigger than the brake size....so im good to go i hope...everyone pray for me lol

just try one first man. Shouldn't be more then two, maybe 4 bolts (on the fronts)....

The pissest part about the job will be the brake lines/fittings and bleading, if you wanna call that hard.

ok, i have the same question basically....

my buddy has a 99 FRC and he just got new rotors and pads....and he said i could have his old ones....his car only had 7k total miles...so the brakes are brand new basically...

are his rotors the same size as mine?

Rotors on the Corvette are bigger than an F-body. The calipers (not the brake pad baskets) are interchangable though. You can put the CORVETTE caliper on and keep the f-body pads, frame, and rotors. I did this on my '99 SS and my '02 SS.

The rotors shown are iRotors, formerly a sponsor here.

thats what i thought. i wasnt positive though.

so in order for me to use his extra rotors, i need a set of calipers. but in order for me to use vette calipers, i need those special brackets. right?
