Default 1.8 rockers and Longtubes

how much more would my rev limit be raised? so i would expect an extra 10rwhp with the crane 1.8s on a stock heads/cam LS1?
if you have $1500, which would you do and why? 1.8 rockers or LTs?
anyone running 1.8 rockers with stock springs, stock heads,stock cam on their LS1? is it worth the money?

forget the rockers.

Go with Long tubes

For 347ci I would get LGs long tubes.
For 408+ I would go with Kooks 1 7/8

I agree,forget the rockers,but if you insist,I would also change the springs.I just ordered my longtubes about an hour ago.$1365.00 shipped 2 day air to hawaii.There LG street series,polished stainless steel from front to back.

SO damn jealous, lol! - Maybe this XMAS I'll be sporting some of those LG LTs. A picture like that makes me want to pull out the credit card right this minute, hehe.

c5_ls1_6spd - I had the 1.8 rockers, ls6 springs, titanium retainers, etc - all from SLP when i purchased the car. It was ok - but the gains from that are not going to compare to Long Tubes. Your rockers AND springs are only going to really shine when you go to higher RPMs because THEN you will have the advantage of some more RPMs per gear. Honestly, big deal if the guy next to you has more torque/hp across the entire RPM range and is already 2 car lengths ahead, lol.

Go long tubes - better bang for your buck, imo.
