center console removal
not sure what year, or what you mean by defrost lamp but....
...if you open your center console,...there should be two covers, towards the back of the consloe, pull those off, cause they cover over the two 10mm bolts that help hold down the console.
then go to where your active handleing button is. You can just pull that up, should pop uoff realitivly easy. Careful, cause your active handleing button has a plug in it. Unplug that....or just let it hang outta the way.
You will see the OTHER two 10mm bolts that hold down the front portion of the console.
then.
It should SLIDE OUT. ***BUT, don't forget to unplug your gas door release button, or you could ruin it.
If you need to take off your front bezel,...I think all you need is a torx 15. Which is behind the little cover that is by your ignition cylinder on the dash board.
There is also one behind your ashtrey door.
If this doesn't make any sense,...or I need to clarify more, hollar.
