Very nice unit! Is that on your car? Have they released official pricing?

Damn, looks like you'll need a John Force hood to run that thing. A&A was looking for a donor car to install a KB a few weeks ago, is this it?

Here's a picture of the hood.

I don't know if this is A&A's car. I do know they are supposed to receive the first kits.

701hp and 670 ftlbs of torque. Don't know how much boost.

This LS1 engine featured Airflow Research heads and cam, FAST 90mm throttle body (that adapts directly to our giant inlet BTW - no need for an upgraded manifold), Turnkey Stand Alone Engine Management System, 62lb injectors, Kenne Bell Boost-A-Pump, and 8:1 cr that allows the use of 91-94 octane for daily street driving. Boost and hp can be further increased by simply adding octane and doing a 2 minute pulley swap for weekend racing. Torque? Try 670 at 2000 rpm, and it still had 600 ft lbs. at 6000 rpm! Think you'll feel that FAT, FLAT torque curve?

Damm man.

I want one. It's either this route or bi turbo. This is a little easier in my opinion to maintain....and reliability would have to be better as well.

Anyways,..I want one. The off idle instant torque, is gonna be sick.

I've installed ALOT of magnachargers, and prochargers but, I've like the instant boost of the roots bettter,...just not the final outcome powerwise. Finally, a badass roots.

On a built motor?.... Depending on boost, I may not be impressed.

i would think it would have more to do with the heads than the motor - but i can see your point that it might be a problem

Right now their is no other S/C on the market that will give you 670rwtq @ 2000rpm Perhaps your just talking peak numbers...then yeah a centrifugal or turbo may get you there, but the torque curve will be unmatched.

Is it a STOCK motor? Or is it a built motor?

Thats what I mean. Cause if it's built, and on high boost, it isn't no big deal. If it's built, and on low boost, well then alright.

If it's a stock bottom end,...then yeah, id be impressed.

And info on this?

I hear ya. Its nice to see though there is a non centrigugal style blower tha will give huge low end tq...and I think the #'s are sweet. It would be nice to know how much boost and what heads/cam were used. I assume the bottom end was built...or it wont be running too much longer.

I've been speaking with KB about putting one of those on my drag car project. It has a low compression (8.5) 408ci iron block with AFR 225 heads. We think the car could possibly go 8s at its raceweight. I think the quickest Mustang with a KB is 9.3 ET

Looking forward to these hitting the market soon!
