new guy sayin "hi" i've been floating around here for a few weeks now reading up but there are a few questions i couldn't find answers too, first off, i'm in the market for a 02-04 Z06, it'll probably be about 6-8 months untill i get it but i'd like to know as much as possible going into the purchase, so my questions are; where's the best place to buy aftermarket parts for these (LT's,catbacks,intakes, ect) as those will probably be some of the first things i plan to do to it, also what is the "zip tie" mod i alway read about? i've searched all over the forums only to come up empty handed.

I would say go sign up on some corvette sites like http://www.corvetteforum.com and http://www.z06vette.com ... You will learn a lot from those sites and have better search results when searching for the zip tie mod.
(corvetteforum mostly)
Also they have a lot of group purchases you can join in with sometimes to save a couple hundred dollars on parts. If not you can always check out the forsale section and there is always good items for sale there.

thanks guys, oh and the double welcome by silver SS still cant find anything about the zip tie mod, it's starting to bother me just cause i cant figure out what it is... ps last night i dreamed i bought a black Z06, that must mean the day is getting closer

Welcome to the site.
Skip the zip tie and get a vararam.
If you get headers and plan to stay on stock cubes get LG
if you plan on larger then stock cubes go with kooks 1 7/8.
The factory cat back will flow good up till about 500rwhp and is very light.
I only changed mine for sound.
